I first was introduced to Vallen Mayes during my time as the Health Care Proxy and medical Power of Attorney for my lifelong friend who was battling terminal cancer.  Ms. Mayes was highly recommended by the Hospice care team to provide additional care for my friend as her illness was rapidly progressing. Vallen’s professionalism and knowledge was so impressive, as well as her deep compassion toward my dearest friend which comforted me so much during this extremely difficult time of my life.

The following year our paths crossed again, sadly, when my father passed away after a very brief illness. With my father’s passing, my mother was now in urgent need of additional home health care.  My family’s hope was to help my mother stay for as long as possible in the home she loved and shared for so many years with my father.  My first and only call for help was to Vallen Mayes and her business. Within an hour of my call she had assembled an amazing team of home health care aides to care for my mother.
